The double room was airy, had an electric kettle, central heating and a work desk. All the services were very good.

The atmosphere created was family.

Lovely welcoming and incredibly friendly hotel in a fabulous area so close to Cardiff city centre, and Barry and Cardiff airport. Very well decorated rooms with a double bed breakfast, free Wi-Fi.

Unique play area outside, with a big castle for kids and plenty of seating options. The bar serves homemade dishes, including sausages and roast meats available for takeaway, a nice touch .

Check-in seems to be a bit chaotic. It took a long time, and there aren't clear signs pointing guests to where they should go. The first floor being locked at night was not ideal, especially for luggage-hauling guests wanting to leave before 8:30 am. Some communication issues about breakfast times could be better organized.

Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, with plentiful teas and coffees provided, the bed was cozy and the breakfast selection was excellent with the Welsh breakfast being a definite highlight.

Everything was fantastic.

The indoor soft play area was a hit, and the dining experience was great. We enjoyed the local attractions and the restaurant on-site served delicious meals.

Service at the bar wasn't great. We felt ignored while waiting to order drinks.

The welcome I got was great, and the meal in the bar was delicious and just what I needed after a long day! I loved the cozy garden area to unwind and the comfy lounge to relax in. Just a heads-up, I did run into a small hiccup with an extra charge at check-in, but it didn't put a damper on my stay. 😊

Our superior family room was spacious and decorated in calming tones, perfect for relaxation. The kids loved their comfy foldable beds. Matt's cute call before our late arrival. Plus, it's just a short drive to cardiff city stadium, a nice bonus. Breakfast was lovely too!

I loved my stay, especially enjoying a cozy evening by the fire pit and relaxing in the lovely garden area. The place offers some great spots for unwinding, like a leisure room and outdoor seating. The only thing I wished for was a few more breakfast choices, but that didn't take away from the experience! 😄

Three Horseshoes Country Inn is a charming place tucked away in the countryside. The room I stayed in was clean and recently refurbished, complete with a generous bathroom with a comfortable bathtub and excellent shower pressure. I particularly enjoyed the delicious full English breakfast, where the staff was attentive and even asked how I preferred my eggs cooked.

The kitchen closed earlier than expected.

The food in the restaurant was beyond splendid! A full Welsh breakfast. Plus, the staff were genuinely warm, especially a lady who helped with meals for the young ones. Big ups for that!

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, heating, tv, and a private bathroom with a great shower. Plenty of coffee and tea. Free toiletries provided. Breakfast included a delicious full Welsh option with locally sourced ingredients. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, perfect for a peaceful retreat.
